Check out: http://www.TheWellnessAuthorsShow.com. My interview with Don McCauley is on all day today and all day tomorrow. I dreaded listening to it because I was afraid I would sound silly, but not only did I not sound silly, I was clear, concise, comfortable and informative. What a delightful surprise. I talk about the genesis of the book, why I added a workbook, decided to do workshops with both, what was hard for me to write about, what was easy, and what I learned. I even share my little story about Richard Gere, which wasn’t in the first printing of the book. I also will be featured on TheTransitionNetwork website and newsletter next month, which is great news. This is an organization for women over fifty who move or change another significant aspect of their life and are looking for support. Though new, it has thousands of members. Sharing this brings up my mother’s words, “Don’t toot your own horn, Nancy!” But what the hell. In this social networking age, ‘tooting’ seems an integral part of the process, so I’ll just have to stick my chin out and do what I need to do. It never ceases to amaze me how powertfiul those childhood messages are . So today I’ll just have to live with my discomfort. Enjoy and let me know what you think. And tell all your friends to listen too.
